In an interview for Alternativata with Kalin Manolov, IGA’s chairperson discussed the main trends in Bulgarian public opinion, including continuity and change between 2023 and 2024. Dr. Rumena Filipova underlined the Bulgarian respondents’ uncritical attitudes towards Russia and China (in contrast to other states in Central and Eastern Europe occupying a more critical stance) and further directed attention to the antidemocratic turn in youth views and the growing divide in dispositions between the different regions of Bulgaria.
