In an interview for Capital Daily, Dr. Rumena Filipova commented that the European Commission’s proposals for freezing and confiscating assets of oligarchs have been spurred by Russia’s war on Ukraine, as for a long time Russian oligarchs had been able to unproblematically use their wealth in Europe.
