Dr. Rumena Filipova took part in a media training, organized by the American-Bulgarian Alumni Association in partnership with the Euro-Atlantic Council of Macedonia and the Atlantic Club of Bulgaria. The workshop consisted of a series of lectures aimed at teaching media literacy skills for identifying disinformation to young professionals, activists and students from Bulgaria and North Macedonia. Dr. Filipova’s lecture focused on the phenomenon, reasons for and dissemination of conspiracy theories in Central and Eastern Europe.
