In an interview for Bloomberg TV Bulgaria, IGA’s chairperson discussed US/Europe-China relations following the announcement of tariffs on Chinese electric vehicles. Specific attention was directed to the similarities between the positions of the US and European Commission in the midst of intra-member state differences displayed by France, Hungary and Serbia. Also in focus was the question of the supply of critical raw materials for the sustainability of EV production as well as the close link between strategic competition and economic trends in West-China relations.
